I'll never go back to Home Depot in Hutto again. Waited and waited for some guy to unlock the propane exchange. Never happened so I went back and got a refund. Obviously their time is more valuable then mine.
Rats all over pool supplies! Went last week to get pool chemicals. It was after dark and all was quiet in the garden center. Rounded the corner and saw a whole family of large rats feasting on sunflower seeds! They were perched on the nearby pool chemical containers and scurried and hid before I could get their picture. Walked away and came back three times and they were there. Went to customer service and asked to see the manager. He was kind, but basically said that he was aware they had a problem and he wasn't getting any help from corporate to take care of it. He said that they had at least gotten them outside of the store now! They had been in the store! He offered to disinfect the containers of the products I was looking to buy. No discount, but an apology, an explanation, and some disinfectant wipes. Very much disgusted and not sure I ever want to go back to this Home Depot.
Went in on my lunch break to pick up tile samples. I needed to purchase only two tiles in different colors to see what they would look like in my space. After a lot of deliberation between several different store employees they settled on the answer that they would not sell me individual tiles, I had to purchase a whole case or nothing. This made no sense to me considering I had just come from Lowe's where they allowed me to purchase individual samples with no problem. Waste of time.
First time I've gone back in years. Got to admit. At some point, their mentality must have changed. Employees were friendly. They actually looked me in the eyes and greeted me with a smile. The lay out if the store was helpful. Before, the isles were so cluttered, at times you had to turn sideways to get down them. Whether it's less choices or less inventory, it was pleasant shopping at the location. It used to be a hassle to get the military discount. Their competitor has no problem offering it. I will start to go back to HD.
These people care nothing about aiding and assisting the customer. Highly unfriendly also. My shopping experience left much to be desired.
