They came when they said they would. The technician was very professional and helpful taking the time to answer a barrage of questions. The service was spot on and addressed the issue at hand as opposed to the one that would have made them more money. The fee was very reasonable.
This is a great company. I had a water heater go out and filed a claim with my home warranty company. Affordable Plus Plumbing got the call. I have been a plumber since 1999 in another state and I'm not licensed in Texas. So, I had to have someone else do a job in my house that I could easily do myself (very frustrating). I was very happy to hear that they were a small, family owned company. The crew did a great job and were a pleasure to be around.
They did not call or show for our appointment. So I called them several times and left messages, but they didn't call back. Now I know why this company doesn't have a yelp page.
I had called them to get a water softener set up. The installer seemed a little short with me, but I figured it was really hot, so whatever. However, 3 hours after they left, I noticed the faucet was left on on the side of my house which left water gushing out into my side yard. I was never told that the faucet was on in the first place. But about the water softener, they installed it, but didn't help plug it in, configure it, or anything else. I also discovered a day later that the bypass valve was still in the bypass setting so my water softener wasn't even being used. For the actual plumbing they did a good job and there's no leaks, but I wish "installation" included a little more than just connecting the pipes especially for how much I was charged. I don't expect to use this company in the future after this experience.
