Keep up the good work, Cost Cutters. Just remember, I was an awesome tipper. I made sure my stylist was paid every time I got a haircut. But, that's alright. I'll take my money to an American shop from now on.
I have several complaints, but I'll just mention my main complaint.
I have gotten my haircut for over 2 years at Cost Cutters. I have yet to have a bad haircut. The staff is almost always welcoming and Sabrina has done an amazing job each time. I highly recommend Sabrina to everyone I talk to. She is a great stylist and easy person to carry on a conversation with.
There is a huge communication barrier. If the stylist doesn't have a firm grasp on the English language, how can he/she give someone their desired haircut. My last, and final visit, I explained my simple haircut to the very nice lady. A basic, military regulation, cut using a #1 on the sides. I didn't ask for a mo hawk. I can almost swear she cut it this bad on purpose. Just so she and her friends could get a good laugh. She totally screwed my hair up, bad. I had to go to another shop the following day and pay (again) to get it fixed. My hair is now WAAAY shorter than I wanted.
Worst place to go! My 4 year son got cut by the lady which was so rude to begin with. My son kept crying and didn't let her touch him again ! And she refuse to let someone else cut his hair she just wanted me to walk out with my sons hair unfinished. I had to drive some where else to get his hair done. People like that should not even work with kids. Off course he wasn't going to let her after the huge cut she gave him on his head. Oh and also made the comment that There was a restroom were I could take him to "talk to him" for reacting to her cutting his head. Off course he was going to cry! She cut him deep there was no way it should've been that much if she was paying attention to what she was doing. She had no patience and her language was just so ratchet. Very unprofessional ! Never going back !
Hmmm, I came in at 445pm to have my daughters hair straightened, and they can’t do it because they close at 5, I work retail and if we have customers come in at 530pm when we close, we don’t turn them away by any means. Won’t even look at this place again, SMH
Sabrina does an excellent job on our haircuts. All the stylist make us feel very welcome.
It seems that over the past year, all of the English speaking American stylists have left this shop. Every single stylist in this shop can barely speak Engish. I'm ok with that to a point, but when the stylist can not understand me well enough to give me a haircut, there is that communication barrier I mentioned.
